I can't tell from your comments whether you are in favor or opposed to arms supplies to Ukraine and/or Israel. I do appreciate your revulsion at the notion that supplying them should be approved on the basis that it's good for the economy.
I'm opposed to supplying and funding both conflicts, and the truly abhorrent thing about promoting them as an economic good is that we do it constantly. It's an economic good to sell weapons to the Saudis—who used them to commit war crimes in Yemen, and the crimes against humanity that upset the Quakers—and the UAE and Bahrain and others, and it was an economic good to sell weapons to Russia until recently.
