I just read something about the various tennis regulating authorities, and the money they make. Not corrupt, necessarily, but at least a major skim. I don't recall an Olympics where somebody wasn't found to be bribing somebody.
Do you like Lucinda Williams? She's assisting me with the thing I'm working on now.
Lucinda is one of my favorites. Just bought her Tom Petty tribute CD, and it was our meal-preparation listening music last night. We saw her in concert last year with Jason Isbell in Little Rock. She's still recovering from a stroke, so she wasn't playing her guitar, but she belted out her blues rock while sitting in a chair (most of the time),and did a more-than-creditable job.
The Olympic Committee is vile. Entire communities get paved over so that the bigwigs can make millions. City budgets are wrecked for decades. Billions are spent on venues that can’t be maintained once the games are over. But hey, the US reigns supreme in semi-naked indoor handball!
It’s pretty difficult to give an award for Most Corrupt Enterprise, but international sports groups have to be in the conversation.

re: bitcoin, ever notice how it's always valued in dollars? Just sayin'.
And fewer and fewer of them, too.
Hugs. We’re in a tough way.
Hugs, thanks, back atcha. I was trying earlier today to remember who introduced me to you. It was Krystie, of course. 10 years ago, maybe?
❤️ yes. We’ve been friends since 1986. Lots of water under lots of bridges.
