I am a time traveler from the first half of the twentieth century, taking it one day at a time - so something that seems remarkable to me might have happened a quarter of a century ago or more - for example, quite recently I learned about Fiona Apple's music video of "Across the Universe" - it is beautifully done - the video juxtaposes her serenely singing the song as a baseball-bat-wielding gang of crackers demolishes a fifties soda fountain around her
