Sorry about that eye. Border Patrol excesses acknowledged, what do you think should be done with the border? Unlimited access is not acceptable to our population.

Lots of things were not acceptable to our population until they were, and it's either that or mass slaughter at the border. Climate change migrations are not around the corner; they're here, and if we don't resolve to solve the issue created by what will sooner than later be 10 million or more climate refugees at the gates, we'll either have to kill them or let them in. Whichever is less unacceptable at the time.

Most of the migration is not, in my opinion, due to climate change although that is a factor. Most of it is due to terrible governance, leading to severe poverty. Contrary to much progressive doctrine, I don't think the U.S. is responsible for all of that. I concede it's responsible for some. At some point, people are going to have to take control of their own governments and cultures.

We will never again have fewer immigrants at the gates than we do now. Climate change is accelerating, the U.S. continues to meddle in Central and South America, people attempting to take control of their own political destinies there are often threatened or killed — I mean, we can't even do it here, with all of our advantages — and we have no plan.

Those are the worst headaches, and your experience illustrates why they are sometimes referred to as "ice pick headaches." My deepest condolences, and dearest hope that the universe elects to spare you from more of these. I'm well aware of all of the other names for these.

My current speculation is that conservative planners are already on-board with global warming and contribute to push overreach in anticipation of mass migration northward. I mean we already know the DOD considers it a very real global threat.

The real question will be, what are the Canadians going to do about all of this?

Thanks for the well-wishes, Kirt. The pain in the eye so completely overwhelmed the pain in the head that I couldn't conceive of it as a headache. Amazing experience and one I don't want to repeat.

I'm sure you're right about the crafty wingers having a climate disaster/immigration plan. I follow Stephen Miller on Twitter, and he is attempting to whip up an absolute frenzy. I had the opportunity to read a conversation about the US-Canada issue, and the consensus seemed to be that ultimately the US would attempt to annex Canada, probably unofficially.
