Coupla things whilst I’m yet away.
It’s not that Honolulu doesn’t generate pollution; it’s just that typically, the breezes take it out to sea. I’m grateful. I wish all that leftover Covid money went to HEPA filters and air purifiers instead of cops and pickup trucks for cops, like it did here.
A few posts back I mentioned The Surfrajettes, a surf band still getting a handle on their instruments at the time of the music I heard. They’ve been tapped to open for Electric Six’s U.S. and U.K. tour.1
The LA Times has a feature on transgender actor Elliot Page. It’s quite good of itself, and as a reminder of the nature of this subset of people Republicans—all of them—are brutalizing and trying to kill.2
